Meets me : Paul

Journalist: Paul, your words carry both darkness and a fire that never dies. How would you describe your relationship with that fragile part of yourself?

Paul Littlestripes: I don’t hide fragility — I carry it with me on stage. It’s in the pauses, in the silence between notes, in the cracks of my voice. I’m not here to look invincible: I’m here to remind people that even scars can make a sound.

Journalist: You often say that on stage you don’t “perform,” you “confess.” What does that mean to you?

Paul Littlestripes: It means that every song is not a show but a fragment of myself. It’s not an act — it’s a confession. When I sing, I’m not entertaining: I’m burning. And those who listen can feel that flame.

Journalist: In Volcren you don’t call yourselves musicians, but artists. Why?

Paul Littlestripes: Because what we do goes beyond music. It’s words, images, symbols, inner worlds. Volcren is a journey in and out of ourselves. Music is only the doorway — behind it lies the Archemondo.

Journalist: If you had to leave one message to those who listen to you, what would it be?

Paul Littlestripes: That even in the darkest corridors there’s always a spark. I’m here to look for it, and I hope whoever listens can find one for themselves.
